For her continued commitment, clinical support, and continued demonstration of key leadership qualities, CDS thanks Megan McConechy for her commitment to our organization.

Tell us about your role at Hill Top Dental and how you got here:
I began my dental hygiene career over five (5) years ago. Shortly after heading down this career path, I joined the team at Hill Top Dental. And over the past several years, my time at Hill Top consisted of one ongoing theme: consistent and continued learning, as well as flexibility and open-mindedness, all of which I’ve appreciated and applied as I treat and build relationships with my patients.

Providing quality patient care is a genuine and sincere passion of mine, and my time at Hill Top has allowed me to do just that – I’ve learned so much during my time here, and I’m grateful for the chance to continue learning effective tools and protocols, for the purpose of one goal: supporting the community of Prince Albert and providing high-quality care to the patients of Hill Top.

How has being a part of the Hill Top and CDS team developed your career?
More recently, I’ve had a chance to become an integral support to our clinic as we faced the impacts COVID-19 has had on the dental industry. Specifically, I’ve had a chance to support the development of key hygiene protocols and safety guidelines as we prepared the clinic for gradual reopening, and as we continue considering public health directives during these current times and for the foreseeable future. It has been a fantastic learning experience, and I look forward to working further with the CDS team in strategizing and supporting the continued development of our hygiene protocols.

What does being a part of the CDS team mean to you?
I enjoy being part of a national team of dental professionals striving to provide quality, individualized patient care. Being a part of the CDS family has provided me with significant opportunity for leadership and continued learning, support from CDS leadership, and access to a network of teams that I look forward to further learning from.
